Hong Kong athlete cyclist Lee Wai-sze wins bronze medal at the London Olympics
The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (August 4) extended his warmest congratulations to Lee Wai-sze for winning the first bronze medal in the Women’s Keirin event of the London Olympic Games for Hong Kong.
“We are all very proud of our cyclist Lee Wai-sze who has tried her utmost to strive for excellence in the Women’s Keirin. Her perseverance and tenacity has best exemplified the can-do spirit of Hong Kong. Hong Kong people are all graced by Lee Wai-sze’s outstanding achievement.
“We will continue to give full support to sports development and cheer for our athletes. We wish them success in the forthcoming competitions,” Mr Leung said.
