Belgian Spirit’s 2013 programme : This year, Belgian Spirit will deliver an important part of the speakers to the well-attended BODW-forums, present Belgian Design within a Belgian pavilion and organize several events and actions to enforce Belgium’s partnership to BODW and create long-term relationships between both countries.
Highlights of the Belgian Spirit programme:
Economic mission led by the three regions (with participation of Minister J.C. Marcourt and Minister-President K. Peeters): this mission will include B2B-meetings, workshops, networking events, etc.
Presentations/seminars/workshops: Belgian Spirit will deliver a large of the key-note speakers to the BODW‐forums and will also organize seminars and master classes throughout the week
“The House of the Belgian Spirit”: a Belgian country pavilion in IDTE’s Inspiration Hall will bring a comprehensive overview of what Belgian Design has to offer.
DRESS CODE: an exhibition on Belgian FASHION in cooperation with and on the premises of Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), from December 2013 to March 2014.
DESIGN IN MOTION : exhibition in cooperation with HKDI, presenting renowned Belgian designer Charles Kaisin’s work and research from 1999 to 2009, linking two themes: motion and recycling (December 2013-March 2014)
A SURREAL DINNER : a VIP‐dinner experience with a touch of Belgian surrealism. Belgium invites local guests to a taste of Belgian Haute Cuisine and Design.
SZ‐HK BIENNALE 2013: Architecture exhibition in Shenzhen Biennale and architecture seminars en events in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
