InvestHK was the event partner. Leaders in the industry shared their insights on the future development of the global logistics business, with focus in the Asian market.

From 29 August 2022 to 10 September 2022 40th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF)
The Belgium-Hong Kong Society (BHKS), jointly with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, support the 40th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) to promote Hong Kong's creative industry to Belgians and the younger audience in particular.
The 40th BIFFF will be held at the Brussels Expo at Heysel on 29 August – 10 September 2022. Two Hong Kong films will be screened: the multi-award winning "Limbo", and adventure comedy "Schemes in Antiques".

BIFFF has selected Limbo to take part in the Black Raven Competition for Best Thriller. The film has won awards from the Far Eastern Film Festival in Udine, Italy; the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, Spain; the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards; and the Hong Kong Film Awards.
The story: Seasoned detective Cham Lau and rookie partner Will Ren track down an elusive serial killer through the dark alleys of stormy Hong Kong. As they investigate the series of crimes, they come across a woman called Wong who has a past with Cham. Unbeknownst to her, she holds the key to solving the case.

Hong Kong filmmaker Derek Kwok directs a Mainland cast in this co-production.
The story: Despite his family’s famed expertise on ancient relics, Xu Yuan makes a simple living as the owner of an electronics shop, eager to distinguish himself from a disgraced ancestor who was executed for treason after stealing a Chinese Buddha head for Japan. But when a descendant offers to return the relic to China, Xu Yuan uncovers a decades-old mystery and soon embarks on a journey that could finally restore his family’s reputation, and may also cost him his life.

The Belgium-Hong Kong Society (BHKS) organised 2022 End of Summer Business Seminar - “The future of semiconductors around the world” at IMEC in Leuven, Belgium on 14 September 2022, with the support from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels. Two expert speakers, Ms Françoise Chombar, Chairwoman of Melexisand Mr Luc Van den hove, President and CEO of IMEC shared their insights on the supply-demand and R&D of seminconductors respectively with over 100 participants. A walking dinner followed the seminar, where the participants enjoyed a great time having further exchanges with the speakers and guests from related industries. More details here.

As an international commercial centre and sourcing hub, Hong Kong has long been a marketplace for different types of intellectual property (IP). Leveraging on the advantages of an established legal system, ample financial resources, robust IP protection, and comprehensive professional and consultancy services, Hong Kong plays an important role in IP value‑chain activities from arts and creative industries to technology and innovation development across the region.
The Business IP Asia Forum, a signature regional IP event organised in Hong Kong for years that brings IP professionals and business leaders from all over the world to discuss the latest developments and explore business opportunities in the IP world, has its version in Belgium in 2022. Tied with this Forum, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, supported by the Belgium-Hong Kong Society (BHKS), will hold a business luncheon "Co-creating a resilient and sustainable IP ecosystem" on 6 December.
