BHKS sponsored the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in Antwerp organised by the Antwerp-West Rotary Club on 10 September 2016.  BHKS members and their family and friends enjoyed this traditional Chinese sport-cum-cultural event with interesting indoor and outdoor activities and performances.

BHKS sponsored the first-ever Hong Kong x Brussels Multi-Arts Marathon organised by the Hong Kong Arts Centre with the support of Les Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels.  For this contemporary arts encounter, 10 Hong Kong artists and 10 European artists based in Belgium worked in pairs to create site-specific dance and multi-art performances.  The audience was not only given a taste of Hong Kong’s contemporary art and cultural landscape, but also of its exciting culinary scene.   Distinguished chef George Tang was invited to give a cookery demonstration and served her own inspired versions of classic Hong Kong “street food”.  BHKS members were provided with complimentary tickets to enjoy the performance and the real taste of Hong Kong.

BHKS co-organised the Hong Kong Mid-Autumn Festival Reception at the Official Residence of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office on 12 October 2016 to celebrate one of the most popular Chinese festivals celebrated in Hong Kong.  BHKS were invited to attend the reception at which traditional Chinese food and moon cakes that every Hong Kong family would take during this festival season were served.
